Robert Drake - Director
Robert is a leader and innovator in financial literacy and evaluation. He is active in international networks, particularly fostering national strategies.
Robert draws on 30 years experience in financial services and consumer protection across government and NGO sectors.
Robert lead the creation of Australia's MoneySmart website — widely regarded as one of the world's best. He also founded the grants program at Financial Literacy Australia, a non-government organisation. This role involves fostering 48 financial literacy projects across Australia through a $A17 million grants program and evaluation initiatives.
Dr Elaine Fishwick - Senior Consultant
Elaine is an experienced researcher, writer and academic. She has 30 years experience in a wide range of issues in social justice and human rights.
Elaine has worked as a consultant for governments, national non-government organisations and local community organisations. She brings an international perspective to her work, and has shared her expertise at major international conferences.
Kirsty Mcguire - Administration
Kirsty looks after the administration aspects of SmartSteps.
She updates the website, handles accounts and arranges client visits. Kirsty brings rich international experience in administration, customer service and consumer research.

SmartSteps has contacts with financial literacy leaders, evaluators and key practitioners around the world. They are passionate about financial literacy and enjoy assisting other countries. SmartSteps' model is to bring in short, sharp contributions from other experts where appropriate.
